The Pinna is a company related to contemporary art, aiming to promote arts & culture across the world with particular attention to artists coming from conflict areas. The gallery commits to re-invest 50% of its income from each sale in charity and cultural institutions in the artists’ country. The beneficiaries will be selected by the artists themselves. Proofs of the charity will be documented on the gallery website and payment receipts of the donations will be provided to clients upon request. The project purpose focuses on social issues as well as education, gender equality, human rights violation and access to health care in the country of origin of the artists involved. With the hope of a better future, The Pinna believes in a new way to look at the art market, free from speculation and focused on our deepest humanity, making possible a different and sustainable way of collecting artwork, The Pinna speaks to the next generation of more conscious collectors, who will be part of a new wave of art investors, no longer speculative or narcissistic but social-orientated and merciful.
